Neighbor to Family, Inc.

Five Points Technology Group is proud to have Neighbor to Family, Inc. as a valued client. Neighbor to Family, Inc. is a progressive non-profit national foster placement program for sibling groups, children with special needs, and older foster children who are transitioning to independent living. This remarkable program focuses on keeping siblings together in a single home, and supporting birth parents and making them accountable for long-term well being of their children. Neighbor to Family, Inc. balances lean administrative support with decentralized decision-making by trained, salaried professionals, rather than volunteers, at the program service level.

Founded in 1998 and officially incorporated in 2000 by Gordon Johnson, President/CEO; Neighbor to Family, Inc. is headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida and has grown to more than 600 employees, has a $36 million annual budget, and is providing foster care services in six states, soon to be eight. The organization is working hard to achieve its founder’s goal of helping foster children in all fifty states.

Mr. Johnson founded Neighbor to Family at age 67 and for his dedication and accomplishments in helping children in foster care he was awarded the 2007 Purpose Prize by Civic Ventures, a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to expand the contributions of older Americans.

Mr. Johnson and Neighbor to Family, Inc. chose Five Points Technology Group and its automated child welfare system, Revolve, to support Neighbor to Families rapid expansion into the future. Revolve provides feature-rich foster care functionality, a user interface that incorporates the organization’s current business practices, and the scalability Neighbor to Families will need as it grows to meet its founder’s expectations. Five Points will provide technical support to ensure Revolve will give Neighbor to Family the tools it will need to keep foster care siblings together and reunite them with their family members.
